This total basement remodel began by digging out from the existing foundation and building a retaining wall.

Windows were then transformed from small basement size into full windows by cutting larger openings in the foundation.

The retaining wall and full-size windows allow light and air into the space, dramatically transforming this once dark basement into a light and airy living space.
